Does anything strike fear in the heart of a computer user like the Blue Screen of Death? Also known as the Blue Screen of Doom or BSoD, it is an error message informing the user of a critical system error. While the BSoD appears in other places, such like the red version in Lotus Notes, it is indelibly linked to the Microsoft Windows operating systems.
The BSoD can be caused by a few different things, including a bad device driver. If a device driver for your printer, mouse, scanner or other hardware is corrupt, it can cause an incompatibility that will bring about the BSoD. Updating your driver can often remedy this situation. As well, device drivers that are poorly written can also cause the Blue Screen of Death. Vendors often release new versions of their drivers to fix bugs, so updating your drivers could bring one that will ward off the blue error screen.

Always innovative, ParetoLogic is proud to announce that DriverCure is
compatible with the Windows® 7 32-bit and 64-bit Operating System!
Other causes of the BSoD are faulty memory, incompatible Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs) and a corrupt registry. In the case of faulty memory, a bad hard drive, defective RAM or even heat or other conditions causing the memory to fail could have you staring at the Blue Screen of Death. At times, you can shut off your computer and let it cool off for a while and see if that works. If you have added RAM, you could try replacing it.
DLLs files are executable functions that are used in a variety of programs. If a DLL is not found by some software or there is a problem with it, the BSoD can appear. This is often part of what is called "DLL Hell."
The Windows registry is the complicated database that stores information, settings and user preferences for your operating system, hardware and software. If the registry has corrupt entries, you could be inundated with the Blue Screen of Death. In the case of incompatible DLLs and a corrupt registry, a registry cleaner, such as RegCure, can often be the cure for the BSoD. It will scan deeply for a wide variety of errors and fix them.
Paretologic may be interested to know that I value their software highly and that I am impressed with its results so much that, as I got a few more license keys thrown in for some other programs of your catalogue when I renewed my license for RegCure, I just yesterday downloaded and installed DriverCure and I am happy with its performance so far.
Thank you again for all your time and help.
Cordially,
Paul van Kesteren
